I have returned on the same day to give you another post....
mr. kool aid man thinks this is good!
so anyways, I decided it was time for you to meet the (few) dolls I have.
I decided to not be mainstream and not start with American Girl dolls.
I AM A DOLL HIPSTER......
ok, but no ;)
so, I present to you...... Brooklyn Skai!!!!
oh hai!
Brooklyn here is a DesignAFriend doll.
If you don't know what that is, it is a My London Girl knockoff(if you don't know what my London Girl is, it is an American Girl Doll knockoff :)), and it is part of a brand called Chad Valley, that works specially with Argos.
(BTW, Chad Valley also makes knockoff BuildABears. They are called DesignABears)
You can get your own DesignAFriend doll for only £20, unless you get the little sister(not sure what her price is!)
The doll I have is Violet, but I obviously renamed her.
Ok, less typing, more pics!
her hair is very easy to maintain, but it looks a little fake.
her hair is rooted extremely well, and she barely loses any hair when I brush it.
she can share most clothes and shoes with American Girl dolls, excluding some shirts and some dresses.
all in all, I think she is pretty good for £20. so, that is Brooklyn Skai!!!!!
here is the link to buy her: http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/9058352.htm
if you get her now, you can get her for £9.99!!!! there is also a special offer going on surrounding her and the other dolls!!!!
sorry I have not been posting stuff, I have been a little busy........
anyway, let's start!
I have very different dolls with very different hair. I decided to start with a doll with smooth, European-like hair, so, I introduce, Mia St Clair, GOTY 2008.
unfortunately I didn't get a before pic. I got a 'third done pic.'
I think you can tell which side is done...
this is what the finished side looks like
I sprayed her hair with water, and then, I brushed it. pretty easy, right?
this is my first post from my phone and I am so excited! also, don't ask me why everything is in lowercase :/
anyways, today my dad decided to drive my bro and I to Essex. We are currently in Thurrock. We went searching in IKEA and the B and Q, and my dad could tell we were pretty bored.
(also, from ikea, I got a doll item that is much cheaper than usual doll items. it should come up in my next post!)
I wanted to show you guys some awesome things. Here it is!
new MH sports line- I saw Clawdeen, Spectra, and Toralei- although I despise Toralei's new lipstick
I saw Skelita, Jinafire, and Catrine!!!
I have NEVER seen a a Once Upon a Time doll in the UK
Hiya! It's Zoe..... I would like to start off on a happy note.... soooooo

Now that I am calm, I will go on to the sad news :( Four American Girl Dolls are being archived!!!!!!!!!! These dolls are Ivy( friend of Julie), Ruthie( friend of Kit), and the newest Historical Dolls, Marie-Grace and Cecile!!!! But, there is even more sad news. Two of these dolls are out of stock online :(((((( One (luckily) is still in stock, and the remaining doll has a limited stock because she is selling pretty quickly.... Just look at the pictures....
Hola! I decided to start off this series with a summer top. This is actually a refashion/upcycle of a refash/upcycle/ :) Basically, this was a 0-3 Months Carter's baby dress, that I upcycled last summer into a doll's dress.
Here is a closeup of the ruffles....
Here is what it looks like on a doll........ excuse my finger ! :)
First, I started by unpicking the last ruffle from the bodice part. That doesn't make sense, so just look at the pics.......
Hello! I have decided to start a series called Summer Wardrobe. Basically, I will be sewing a summer wardrobe for my American Girl Dolls. Very soon, I will create a page that shows information about my dolls. For now, I will keep this blog like this.......:) Zoe xxx
